These Terms of Services (“Terms”) constitute the entire understanding and agreement between the Client (“the Client”) and Tailoress Atelier LLC and its affiliates (“Tailoress Atelier”) relating to the purchase of the garment alterations described on the invoice (the “Services”) and supersedes and replaces any and all prior agreements, whether written or oral, that may exist between them with respect thereto.

  • 1. Consultations -Client will receive an appointment reminders via email/text 36 hours and 24 hours before the appointment. Due to the nature of our business--- no show or late cancel/reschedule (under 24 hours) will result in a $10 fee. This includes consultations, Bridal/2nd Fitting ($30), and service complete appointments. If you arrive more than 10 min late and fitting time is deemed unserviced this also results in a $10 fee. Fee also accrues if client refuses services due to the following reason but not limited to - pricing, timeline, and/or services to be rendered.

    Any changes in Client’s measurements after the first fitting which cause additional or different services to be rendered are subject to additional charges. The Client presumes all responsibility over any weight gain or loss that may affect the way a garment fits.

  • 2. Invoicing and Deposits --At the time of first fitting a deposit of 50% of services over $100 is required. Any invoices for services under $100 are due in full at time of consultation. Turnaround times vary as stated in our FAQ. Rush fees apply for any garments dropped with a requested pick up time of under a week with the exception of mends and small repairs. Any services that require new fabrics, zippers, buttons, etc will be a separate charge. Revisions that are outside of the original fit upon consultation will be an additional charge.

  • 3. Bridal- In addition to the consultation terms stated above -- Bridal Consultations require a $30 fee for initial the fitting. The fee is charged whether or not Tailoress Atelier is able to provide alterations/tailoring services. Outside of the agreed to fittings in the first consultation, An additional $30 fee is billed for the following-- This includes appointments for refittings, change of mind, appointment to try accessories, etc.

    Estimates are only valid for 1 week -- after the allotted time client will have to be refit and book another bridal consultation appointment. Clients who decide to pick-up their dresses earlier or cancel alterations (if possible) will not be able to recover the deposit, and agree to accept their dresses in their unfinished state.

    If the consultation/fitting is performed more than 3 months before their wedding the client cand do so at their own understanding Tailoress Atelier does not take responsibility for fit issues due to changes in measurements after the final fitting. Additional alterations and fittings will be billed at an additional cost.

  • 4.. Service Complete, Pick up -- The client agrees to a completion date at the time of consultation. The 'service complete' appointment is scheduled at the time of consultation. Client is restricted from rescheduling said appointment to an earlier date unless approved by Tailoress Atelier. If Client does not pick up garment at the scheduled time-- Tailoress Atelier holds the right to charge remaining balance and hold for 2 weeks. If garment (s) is not picked up after two week hold said items will be donated or disposed of unless further communication from client has been made.

     Please launder your items before your appointment.

  • Reminder: Please bring your chosen footwear for hems and any shapewear, undergarments, belts, etc. that would affect fit on your garment(s).

  • You will receive an appointment reminder 36 and hours before your appointment. Due to the nature of our business--- any no show or missed appointments less than 24 hours before your scheduled time will result in a $10 fee. This includes consultations, 2nd Fitting, and service complete appointments.

  • Rush Fees apply to any services complete under the stated turnaround times.

  • 4-6 weeks for Special Occasion/Suiting

  • 1-4 weeks for Casuals (depending on quantity/complexity)

  • 4-12 weeks for Cut/sew projects (includes any service where fabric needs to measured, cut and sewn into an existing garment or from concept to design. Times vary depending on scale of project.)

  • Any services that require new fabrics, zippers, buttons, etc will be a separate charge.
